Most Carpet Manufacturers recommend professional carpet cleaning by an IICRC Certified Carpet Cleaner every 12-18 months to maintain the warrantee. Regular Carpet Cleaning should be performed just like routine maintenance on you car or furnace. What happens when you don’t change your oil or your furnace filter on a regular basis? It wears out and requires additional maintenance and often times requires replacement before it is necessary. Carpets are the same way! Quality yarn systems require regular maintenance just like anything else. Think of your carpets just like a giant air filter almost like a secondary furnace filter which harbors all sorts of dust, soils and allergens. Regular Carpet Cleaning with eco-friendly cleaning products can greatly improve indoor air quality which in turn improves the health of the occupants. In addition it also removes soils that cause damage to carpet fibers and greatly increases the life of the carpet. Contact Minneapolis Carpet Cleaner today at 612-789-9600 for a free Carpet Cleaning estimate.

There are several benefits to annual carpet cleaning. It’s not always a good idea to wait until your carpet looks dirty to have it cleaned. Even with regular vacuuming it’s still a good idea to have your carpets steam cleaned every 12-18 months. Carpets require regular maintenance and cleaning just like changing the oil in your care or cleaning your teeth. Most carpet manufacturers recommend annual cleanings by an IICRC Certified Cleaning Firm. Some manufacturers even require proof of annual carpet cleaning to maintain the carpets warranty. Waiting until your carpet looks dinghy or soiled to have it steam cleaned usually means fiber damage has occurred making it difficult to restore. In addition regular carpet cleaning with Green Carpet Cleaning Products can greatly improve your indoor air quality. Think of your carpet like a giant filter that needs to be properly cleaned. It will make the carpet last longer and improve the overall appearance not to mention a cleaner indoor environment. Green Clean Carpet Care is always happy to provide you with a free estimate go to www.greencleancare.com to inquire about our services. “Best in the Twin Cities”

The answer is yes Green Carpet Cleaning Agents absolutely do work. The fact of the matter is there is a general perception among many that Green Cleaning products don’t work as well. This is simply not true. When it comes to Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery Cleaning there are many factors that come into play when it comes to a good thorough cleaning job. The cleaning agents only make up 25% of the actual cleaning system. In our industry we use a term called T.A.C.T. this refers to Time (Dwell time), Agitation (Scrubbing, Raking and Brushing), Chemical (Cleaning Agents) and Temperature (Temperature of the water used for cleaning). The fact is many Carpet Cleaners rely on on 2 of these to get their results mostly Chemical and Temperature which means they rely on really strong cleaning chemicals to get the job done. In reality if you add Time(which also means taking the time to do a good job) and Agitation(which requires more work) back into the equation the results are excellent no matter what type of cleaning products are being used. Regular Cleaning and Maintenance of Carpet and Upholstered furnishings ultimately results in a Cleaner Healthier indoor environment. At Green Clean Carpet Care www.greencleancare.com we have TACT and we help Restore Healthy Environments.

Do You Wonder If The Chemicals In Carpet Cleaning Can Be Harmful?

The answer to this question is yes and no! The fact of the matter is that a lot of carpet cleaning chemicals are made with strong cleaning chemicals. Butyloxyethanol and Ethylene Glycol Butyl Ether are just a couple of the common ingredients found in many Carpet Cleaning products. These chemicals should not be inhaled or come into contact with bare skin not to mention their affect on the environment.

The reality is no matter how good we rinse the carpet with our big machines some chemical residue still remains. Is this really condusive to a healthy indoor environment? Probably not! Some people are certainly affected by these products right to the point where it will make them sick. Over time people can develop all sorts of sensitivities that are often times related to strong cleaning chemicals. Most people aren’t directly affected by these products so they don’t even think about it. But what are the long term health affects? Well we don’t really know so why not use products that we know are safe for ourselves and the environment.

Stay tuned for my next blog and I will talk about how Green Carpet Cleaning Products actually DO work.
